Alfred
Hitchcock said, 'When an actor comes to me and wants to discuss his
character, I say, 'It's in the script.' If he says, 'But what's my
motivation? ' I say, 'Your salary.' I kind of like that because most
times people don't read the script. How many times have you given
someone a flier that has all the information but they still ask you?
Especially black people.
Your entire life is in the script. The script is the Scriptures. Why waste your time searching for your lines and roles when God has given us the script? 1 Cor. 2:9 tells us: it is written. Your career or calling is written in God's script for you. Three parts of your being you must engage to discover, develop and deploy your role are: 1. Your eyes. They were designed to see what is written concerning you. Search the scripts until you find them. When you see them, keep your eyes on them until you perfect your role. Focus is key. 2. Your ears. They were designed by God so you can hear His voice because He is the director and producer of the film that you are privileged to be a part of. You must tune your ears to hear what the Script writer and director says. As long as you follow His instructions, you can't make a bad movie even if your role is not so nice and attractive. 3. Your mind. Your mind is designed to imagine the script. We were created in God's image. Gen. 1:26. Your mind is God's gift to you to enable you create the image He has of you. If you don't use it deliberately, others will help you form what they imagine for you. Weeds are not necessary but avoidable only if the ground is well taken care of. It is time to look at the script again and see if you are acting your role or someone else's role. The greatest deception in life is trying to be what you were not designed or assigned. George Clooney said, 'It's possible for me to make a bad movie out of a good script, but I can't make a good movie from a bad script.' Don’t make God look bad, look at the script He has for you and follow it. Partner with me to reach 30 million souls in 50 nations this year. Bishop Michael O. Amamieye - www.aggressivefaith.org.
